Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Bricktra ("the Service") is operated by Bricktra, 1984 rue St-Thomas, Longueuil, Québec, Canada. Contact: bricktra@simonmarin.ca. By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. What Bricktra does

Bricktra is a bookkeeping and analytics tool for marketplace sellers. It imports your orders, expenses and shipping data, and helps you track profit, pricing and fulfilment. Bricktra is not an accountant, tax advisor, or a party to your sales. Figures are informational; you remain responsible for your own tax and accounting filings.

3. Your account

• You must provide an accurate email address and keep your password confidential.
• One account per person or business; store names and emails must be unique.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Tell us promptly at bricktra@simonmarin.ca if you suspect unauthorized access. You can revoke all active sessions yourself in Settings → Security.

4. Third-party integrations

When you connect BrickLink, Chit Chats, Canada Post or another service, you authorize Bricktra to use the credentials you supply to read and, where you ask for it, write data on your behalf. You must respect those services' own terms and API limits. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, pricing or changes to their APIs.

5. Subscriptions and payment

• Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time in Billing.
• Cancelling stops future charges and keeps access until the end of the paid period. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are not refunded pro-rata.
• If a trial or paid access ends, the Service becomes read-only — your data stays, but syncing and editing stop.
• We will give reasonable notice before changing prices.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service unlawfully, or to store data you have no right to process.
• Do not attempt to access other users' data, probe or overload our infrastructure, bypass rate limits, or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Do not resell or expose the Service as your own product without our written agreement.
• Do not upload malicious files or abusive content through feedback or attachments.

7. Your data

You keep all rights to the data you enter or import. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, process and display it so the Service can work for you. You can export your data from the app at any time. We handle personal information as described in the Privacy Policy, including cross-border storage.

8. Availability, beta features and support

The Service is provided as-is and as-available. Some features are experimental and may change or be withdrawn. We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and scheduled or emergency maintenance may occur. Support is offered by email and through the in-app feedback form on a best-effort basis.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Bricktra is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost or inaccurate data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under Quebec consumer law.

10. Ending your account

You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Security → Delete account. Your access ends immediately and your data is permanently erased after 30 days, during which you can cancel the request. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that is used unlawfully, or that has been inactive and unpaid for an extended period, with notice where reasonably possible.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. New versions are published here with a new version number, and you will be asked to accept them the next time you sign in. Continuing to use the Service after acceptance means you agree to the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada. The courts of the judicial district of Longueuil, Quebec, have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rule that gives you a different forum.
